Cancellation and Refund

At Danyah Banaras, every Banarasi pre-draped saree is crafted with care and attention. We want you to love your purchase, but we also understand that sometimes things don’t go as planned. This Refund & Exchange Policy explains how we handle returns, exchanges, and refunds.

1. Eligibility for Returns & Exchanges

  • We do not accept returns/exchanges for reasons such as dislike of color, fabric, or design since each saree is carefully handwoven and may have slight variations.

  • Returns or exchanges are only applicable in the following cases:

    • You receive a defective or damaged product.

    • You receive the wrong product (different design, color, or size than ordered).

2. Conditions for Return/Exchange Approval

To be eligible:

  • You must raise a request within [7 days] of delivery.

  • The saree must be unused, unwashed, and in original condition with tags and packaging intact.

  • You must provide an unboxing video and photos as proof for damage/defect/incorrect product claims.

  • Customized or altered sarees are non-returnable and non-refundable.

3. Process for Returns & Exchanges

  2. Share your order details, photos, and unboxing video.

  3. Once approved, we will provide a return shipping address.

  4. Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless the product is defective or incorrect.

  5. Upon receiving and inspecting the product, we will notify you of the approval or rejection of your request.

4. Refunds

  • Approved refunds will be processed to your original payment method within [7–14 business days].

  • In case of Cash on Delivery (COD) orders, refunds will be processed via bank transfer/UPI.

  • Shipping charges (if any) are non-refundable.

5. Exchanges

  • If eligible, you may exchange the saree for another product of equal or higher value (with the difference payable).

  • Exchanges are subject to stock availability.

6. Non-Returnable & Non-Refundable Items

  • Products purchased during sale, discount, or clearance events.

  • Customized, altered, or personalized sarees.

  • Minor variations in weaving, color, or texture, as these are natural characteristics of Banarasi handloom sarees.
